Here's how to Challenge

another Liar's Poker Player

...and win CASH!

I click on the Challenge tab at the top of the screen.
I confirm my email address and password to request a challenge.
(If I need tokens, I can purchase them from the My Account tab.)

I click to the Join Table tab. It informs me that My Challenge has been accepted.
I click on the "Challenge Tables" button.

I see:
Deadline: Feb 16
Your Score: 100 Points
Opponent's Score: 100 Points

One week until the challenge ends.
There is a Difference between Points and Tokens.

Tokens are worth money. They are paid to play in challenges, and received for winning challenges.

Points are unique to their own specific challenge. Each challenge has its own set of points. These points are only valuable for their own specific challenge match.

If I get more points than my opponent in a challenge at the end of the week, that means I win the challenge. Losing all my points in a challenge means I lose the challenge.

I also see 5 Tables for this challenge: 1, 5, 15, 25, 100 Point Ante Tables.

At Each table there are 4 artificial intelligent computer players that I play against (all having the same degree of skill) to keep challenges fair for both players.

At the 1 Point table, 4 points are handed over each hand:
If the bidder is lying, the bidder gives 1 point to each caller.
If the bidder is not lying, the bidder receives 1 point from each caller.
There are 4 callers; therefore, 4 total points each hand.

At the 5 Point table, 20 points are handed over each hand:
If the bidder is lying, the bidder gives 5 points to each caller.
If the bidder is not lying, the bidder receives 5 points from each caller.
There are 4 callers; therefore, 20 total points each hand.

I could not join the 100 point ante table yet, since I had only 100 points, and could not afford to pay 100 points to each of the 4 callers if I lose. I will have to play at the smaller ante tables in order to build up enough points to really zoom ahead of my opponent.

Here's an example of what you may experience when you play Liar's Poker…this is just an example, your game experience will probably be different than the example we describe below:

If I join the 25 Point table and get caught lying on my first hand, I will have to pay out all 100 points I have, since there will be 4 callers, and I will therefore lose the challenge and have to give each player 25 points. I decide to take the risk, in order to double my money right off the bat. I join the table, and Sit as the "Money Man" and didn't lose the first hand so I could continue playing at the 25 Point table.

After playing risky for a few hands, I drop below 100 points, and am forced to leave the 25 point table. That's ok, I can play at smaller ante tables and get above 100 points again by winning more hands.

I notice my opponent has 150 points. I need to pass him so I can be in the lead. I join the 15 Ante tables to quickly build some points. But, this is not my day, since I am losing more than I am winning. I see my opponent's score has not changed. He must have seen that I have fewer points than him, and is playing it safe (not playing any more and hoping I will go bust) with a comfortable lead.

I can now only afford the 1 Point tables. This will take some work, but I feel confident I can win enough to get to the 5 Point tables, then to the 15 point tables, then finally back to the big money hands at the 25 point tables and use my skills to accumulate more than 150 points and beat my opponent.

You can play as many hands of Liar's Poker as your $1.00 challenge will allow you to before your account point balance gets to low (ie below 4 points) during that challenge.

Your point score is compared against your challenger's point score and who ever gets the most points during that specific challenge match wins 150 tokens. Once you win 2,000 tokens you can redeem your tokens for $20.00.

You can have multiple challenges going at any one time by simply submitting additional challenges to the Liar's Poker Challenge system. Remember, you have 1 week from the time your challenge has been accepted to play and achieve your best score (most points won to get your 150 token prize).
